TMS-EEG
One of the core tool sets we develop and apply in eBrain Centre to decode the complex human brain-behavior relationship is the method of concurrent Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and Electroencephalography (TMS-EEG). In this technique, specific brain processes are activated by TMS and their response to this activation is monitored by EEG recording.
We believe this is one of the most powerful brain technologies available today that allows us to study the brain as a circuit without a need for invasive procedures. We not only apply this technology in our research projects but we are committed to enable wide spread adaptation of this technique. Over the years, we have created streamlined pipelines for processing and analysis of TMS-EEG which we are making available as open-source toolboxes.
We are also developing other types of EEG processing routines (e.g., ERP toolboxes) and customized statistical algorithms for analysis of TMS-EEG and multidimensional EEG datasets.
