Join the eBrain Lab

We are always looking for passionate and motivated researchers to join her team. We have full-time openings for Postdoctoral Fellows, PhD students, and MSc students.

At the eBrain Lab, we work at the intersection of:

  • EEG biomarkers

  • TMS-EEG brain mapping

  • Machine learning on large, harmonized datasets

Our mission is to translate cutting-edge research into clinical impact, working with national and international networks such as CAN-BIND (https://canbind.ca/).

Why Join Us?

  • Collaborate across multiple clinical sites, both nationally and internationally

  • Collect and analyze TMS-EEG data in clinical cohorts

  • Access state-of-the-art neuromodulation technology and standardized neurotechnology infrastructure

  • Work with custom analytical toolboxes and large-scale EEG datasets

  • Gain cross-disciplinary mentorship with opportunities to lead papers, develop methods, and advance clinical translation projects

Example Project Areas

  • Big Data in Depression: Expanding and analyzing large EEG depression datasets using clustering and advanced statistical techniques

  • Toolbox Development: Refinement and development of biosignal processing toolboxes

  • TMS-EEG Brain Mapping: Collection and analysis of TMS-EEG data in health and disease

Research Environment

Trainees will:

  • Gain hands-on experience in neurophysiological data collection and analytics

  • Work with neuromodulation technology

  • Have access to unique datasets and infrastructure

  • Connect with an international network of experts in engineering, neuroscience, and medicine

Nice to Have

  • Background in engineering, computer science, math, physics, neuroscience, or related fields

  • Comfortable programming in Python or MATLAB
